Meet the Artist

Hi! My name is Pearl, and I’m an artist, entrepreneur, and extreme animal lover. I taught myself watercolor about 5 years ago and haven't stopped since. I started Pawtraits by Pearl during my sophomore year of high school because I love seeing the joy and smiles my art brings to people—especially when it celebrates their beloved pets.

My very first pet portrait was of a tortoise, painted as a Christmas gift for a family member when I was just 13. My style has evolved a lot since then, but that moment sparked my passion for pet portraiture.

When I’m not painting, I love dancing, practicing karate, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
